Thank you! I have always been the 'idea' guy, a day never goes buy that I am not flooded with them, all sorts of randon, crazy shit, but also some really cool business ideas. I have held back, like you, on many projects due to 'saturation' or just, 'it's been done before!' This year I have started to act on many of them... Let's go!

The cuteness was proportionate to the mischief when they were young. They’re both great now though as they get closer to being 2

I so relate to everything you say, especially the shower thing. Indeed, a few months ago, I co-write my first novel with someone who was full of ideas but couldn’t write so had to work collaboratively. After I finished writing the novel, exercise that I loved, I was scared never to be able to find good ideas to write another one on my own. And, one night, under my shower, one idea popped up, followed by a few others and by the end of it I had almost the whole story written in my head! It also happens to me regularly during sleepless night, when I let my mind wander while I try to find sleep, those moments can prove to be very creative... In a nutshell, let go of your thoughts and worries, listen to the silent that follows, it never lasts long...

Nur, thank you so much for your post. As I read through I had a thread of resonance with everything. I’m not a list person at all but am embracing its benefits for energising my writing and for one writing exercise I did through the summer, I felt the magic of a poem developing. Have a great weekend 🍁

I really like a lot of James Altucher's ideas. Not his crypto ideas(!), but his idea ideas.

Especially the "Waiter's Pad Guest Check" he uses to jot down all of his thoughts and ten inventions a day. We have a restaurant supply store near us that carries them for practically free, and I use them all the time. Now I just need to get an "Order Up!" window so I can try to keep track of them all.

These are great tips! I have times when I am overflowing with ideas, and then times of desert, so these will be helpful in the event of the latter. I tend to have very vivid dreams and want to use them for stories, so I try to force myself to take a note if I wake up or message the dream to someone else to have a record. Also, your dog is precious *v*

I'm glad you got something out of it! Highly recommend those pocket notebooks for things like dream journaling.

Thank you :) That's my polar bear bestie
